GENeco is a multi-award winning recycling and renewable energy company, committed to offering our customers innovative, cost effective and sustainable solutions.
We were created by our parent company, Wessex Water, in 2009 to help them become more sustainable. Our ground-breaking and driven approach led to us achieving carbon neutrality and zero waste to landfill status in the first three years of operation.
A circular approach
At GENeco, we operate as a circular economy. We treat over 700,000 tonnes of varied waste per annum, including food, liquid and solid materials which are especially resistant to biodegradation. Through our processes, these wastes are transformed into usable products such as biofertilisers, and renewably-sourced gas and electricity powering many thousands of local homes.
