Richard's role involves managing GENeco's food waste contracts, diverting waste from landfill into GENeco's award-winning composting facility, and sourcing new and innovative technologies. He also has overall responsibility for the Solid Bioresources team.
After graduating from the University of the West of England with a degree in Geography and Environmental Management, Richard began his career in the world of environmental consultancy, specialising in air quality and ground water monitoring techniques. After five years he moved to GENeco and held the role of Organic Waste Technician for a couple of years. His current role is that of Solid Bioresources Manager.
Richard has a love of the great outdoors and keeping fit. He is also a keen photographer.
